p3131: This is latish afternoon as we approached Tuna. This is hardly a town at all but is the highest inhabited community in the world. It is rather a walled Caravanserai where the pack animals can be given some shelter. The wind on the plain is unendurable for very long. It carries enough grit to take the skin off your nose.
