33: About sunrise next morning we struggled into the outside cold to get some pictures of this wonderful mountain. We had a small handheld Movie camera and about 500 feet of color film. This was the very first Kodachrome. It was not on the market yet. Dr. Weeks of Eastman Kodak Co. gave it to us to try. It was brilliant, by far the best color film that ever was, and the pictures we took that morning were fabulous. The trouble was that the dyes were not stable. We showed the pictures a number of times, and each time the pictures were more faded until there was nothing left.
